The 校园警察 department works together with the University community 和 is committed to making campus a safe 和 secure place. The department provides multiple safety services 和 crime prevention programs to enhance the safety 和 quality of life at 阿卜苏.

• Emergency Text Alerts: 阿卜苏 offers RAVE Alert, an emergency text message system that enables designated 阿卜苏 officials to send announcements about any imminent emergency affecting the campus. 学生 must opt-in to the system. RAVE Alert is another means to be notified of weather-related closings 和 emergencies. 学生 can sign up to receive emergency notifications by providing his/her cell phone information, as described on the web at www.getrave.com/login/阿卜苏. 父母 can receive alerts by signing up in one of the following ways: parents can opt-in for text messages by texting 阿卜苏Govs to 67283, or the student can register the parent by logging in to the system.
• Emergency telephones (blue boxes) are found in many locations around campus. In an emergency, simply press the button 在电话亭上. This will immediately connect the caller with a dispatcher. 分配器 will send the appropriate agency to respond.
• A security escort service is provided on the Clarksville campus. This service operates 24/7 by calling Campus 警察. 学生 may also use the blue emergency boxes to call for an escort.
• Download the free Rave Guardian app from the app store, which allows students, faculty 和 staff to quickly 和 conveniently communicate with 阿卜苏 校园警察.
• Motorist assistance services are provided 24/7 to assist students on the Clarksville campus. 服务包括 battery jump-start, obtain gas for the vehicle, water for an overheated vehicle 和 should the student need a wrecker, 校园警察 will wait with them until the tow 到达.

All vehicles parked on 阿卜苏's campus must be registered in the 阿卜苏 停车门户. This includes both those who are affiliated with university (student, faculty, staff) 和 those who are not affiliated (visitors). 阿卜苏 uses License Plate Recognition to identify vehicles parked on campus. The cost of student parking is included in the student access fees.    

学生 may access the 停车门户 here using their 阿卜苏 credentials 没有@阿卜苏.Edu或@my.阿卜苏.edu 作为用户名. Those who are not affiliated with the university will create a login by following the Guest Login link. Please note that authentication may take up to one minute. 

学生 must park in the appropriate color coded lots. Violations will result in parking tickets. Commuter students are assigned to green lots, 和 resident students are assigned to silver lots. Lots marked black are open parking, 和 any color decal may park there. Blue parking is 艾达 only 和 must display 蓝色贴花. Violations in these spaces will result in a $200 fine. 以下 represents the color-coding system for parking on campus:

•           Red: 教师 和 工作人员
•           Blue: 艾达 Accessible
•           Green: Commuters, Emerald Hills 和 Two Rivers
•           银:居民
•           Black: Overflow, any valid 阿卜苏 permit is authorized for this zone

*Visitor 和 30-minute parking spaces will be labeled as such. The 阿卜苏 parking regulations 和 map can be found at www.阿卜苏.edu/parking.

Campus Transportation: The Peay Pickup Shuttle 和 Clarksville Transit Buses
Through a partnership with the Clarksville Transit System (CTS), 阿卜苏 provides students free transportation around campus via the Peay Pickup shuttle 和 free transportation around the city on CTS buses.

CTS operates two Peay Pickup shuttle routes from 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m.Monday-Friday, through final exams each semester. The Peay Pickup routes run on the north 和 south side of the campus, with Marion Street being the dividing line. Each shuttle takes approximately 5-6 minutes to complete a route circuit. 学生 must have their Peay Pickup card 和 Govs ID ready when boarding. Cards are distributed by 校园警察 with parking decals. 学生 can flag the shuttle down or wait at a shuttle sign. 此外, 阿卜苏 students ride free on any CTS city bus with a valid Peay Pickup card 和 a valid Govs ID card. For route information, visit Routes | Clarksville, TN (cityofclarksville.com). CTS buses run from 4:30 a.m.-9 p.m. 一周工作六天. The Transit Center can be reached at (931) 553-2429. There is no CTS service on Sundays.
